Winter Activities

Vars offers several activities for the winter season. Try Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowscooting or even speed-skiing in the stadium. Witness the World Championship for Speed-Skiing.

As well as ski-related activities, the Station boasts hiking trails and snowshoes, dog-sleigh rides, snowmobiles and all-season Fatbikes for rent, as well as “Snake Gliss” – a group sledge experience.

Summer Activities

During the warmer seasons, why not rent a bike and check out the Pump Track, with its 180° turns. For the even more adventurous biker, try the Col de Vars climb, just like on Tour de France.

The Station also offers almost 200 km of permanent itineraries and trails throughout the Val d’Escreins valley.

Suited for Children

Club ALSH is designed for children from 3 to 12 years old and runs throughout the school holidays. The Microcrèche les Raffis day nursery is open to 3 to 6 month olds, subject to availability.

During snow season, sign them up for ESF (French Ski School) or with private skiing instructors.

Or check out Chabri’aire park with its treetop adventure course, games, play structures, and numerous summer and winter activities.
